Madeira Legislative Assembly prepares for second session

The Legislative Assembly of the Autonomous Region of Madeira (ALRAM) is preparing for the start of its second legislative session of the 15th Legislature. Following meetings of the Standing Committee and the Conference of Party Representatives, presided over by Rubina Leal, a plenary schedule has been established.

Plenary sessions are set to resume on September 22, despite standard regulations suggesting an October start. The September calendar includes meetings on the 23rd, 29th, and 30th, while October sessions are scheduled for the 1st, 13th, 14th, 20th, 21st, and 27th.

Additionally, the assembly will host the Madeira Autonomous Region Week at the Assembly of the Republic from October 6 to 8. This inaugural event will feature an exhibition celebrating 50 years of Madeira's autonomy, book presentations, and conferences regarding the region's autonomous process.
