Madhavan's biopic GDN unveils Jenson Dhivakar as Vellaiyan

The makers of director Krishnakumar Ramakumar’s period biopic ‘GDN’, starring Madhavan as the legendary Indian inventor G D Naidu, have released new promotional material. Production house Varghese Moolans Pictures posted on Instagram the look of actor Jenson Dhivakar, confirming his role as the character Vellaiyan. The announcement also highlighted other cast members: Karunakaran as Perunkili, Aditi Balan as Padmavathi, Sheela as the young Chellamal and Teejay Arunasalam as the young G D Naidu. The film, which portrays Naidu’s contributions to agriculture, transport and education, is slated for a worldwide theatrical release on 7 August.
