Madhavan's GDN Biopic Highlights Tamil Nadu's New Chief Minister Vijay

Actor R. Madhavan stars as industrialist G. D. Naidu in the upcoming Tamil biopic "GDN", directed by Krishnakumar Ramakumar with music by Govind Vasantha. The film portrays Naidu's inventions, industrial achievements, social welfare work and his battles with contemporary authorities. After a press screening that earned strong critical praise, the movie is expected to contend for a National Award and will be released worldwide.

Madhavan, who recently received the Padma Shri, said in an interview that he is proud to see his longtime friend Vijay serving as Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu. He described several positive developments under Vijay’s administration, while stressing he has no intention of entering politics himself.
