Madhavi Lata criticizes ‘Gen-Z’ label for Indian youth

BJP leader Madhavi Lata has criticized the use of the term ‘Gen-Z’ to describe Indian youth, stating that the label is not culturally appropriate for the country. Speaking in Hyderabad, she argued that Indian youth possess a history rooted in sacrifice and patriotism, citing figures like Bhagat Singh as examples of young generations who dedicated their lives to the nation.

Lata highlighted the intellectual and scientific achievements of Indian youth, noting their success in prestigious institutions like IIT and AIIMS, as well as their contributions to space science and rocket launches. She emphasized that the term ‘Gen-Z’ does not adequately reflect the character and capabilities of the younger generation in India.

Additionally, Lata expressed confidence in the youth of Uttar Pradesh, asserting that they will support Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath for another term to ensure the state's continued progress and development.
