Madhouse announces new cast for Shingo Natsume anime ‘ghost/Yoru no Hate’

Director Shingo Natsume’s first original feature-length anime film, ‘ghost/Yoru no Hate’, is scheduled for a nationwide theatrical release in Japan on February 11, 2027. Madhouse has announced additional voice cast members, including Kenjiro Tsuda as Moby Dick, Hiroki Yasumoto as Karate, and Hiroshi Kamiya as Ito.

The film follows Nike, a talented 15-year-old girl living in a near-future society where individuals are “selected” based on their necessity to the world at age 18. The story explores themes of authentic emotion and societal absurdity. The production features music by the band Hitsujibungaku, who will provide six theme and insert songs.

Additionally, limited-edition collaboration movie tickets featuring Hitsujibungaku artwork will be available for sale during the band’s tour finale at the Yoyogi National Gymnasium in Tokyo.
