Madhuri Dixit discusses film memories and Marathi comedy on Kon Honar Crorepati

Bollywood actress Madhuri Dixit shared several anecdotes during a special appearance on the Marathi quiz reality show, ‘Kon Honar Crorepati’.

Recalling the set of the 1994 film ‘Hum Aapke Hain Koun’, Dixit and co-stars Renuka Shahane and Priya Berde discussed director Sooraj Barjatya’s habit of standing on his toes. Dixit noted that his tendency to go up on his toes would cause his new shoes to loosen and change shape over time, eventually resembling ‘mojaris’.

Dixit also expressed her admiration for the character Lolly, played by Namrata Sambherao on the Marathi comedy show ‘Maharashtrachi Hasya Jatra’. During the discussion, Dixit recreated one of the character’s viral dialogues. Sambherao explained that the character’s distinctive mannerisms and hairstyle were inspired by her childhood experiences in Lalbaug, Mumbai.
