Madhuri Dixit hosts premiere of Kon Honar Crorepati Season 8

The Marathi quiz show ‘Kon Honar Crorepati’ (KHC) premiered its eighth season on October 12, 2026, featuring Bollywood actress Madhuri Dixit-Nene as the host. This marks Dixit’s return to television hosting after 24 years. The premiere episode featured actress Sonali Bendre as a special guest, marking the first time the two actresses have appeared on screen together.

Sonali Bendre joined the show following the passing of veteran actor Nana Patekar, who was originally scheduled to appear but died of cardiac arrest on October 8, 2026. The show airs on Sony Marathi and is available for streaming on Sony LIV.

This season includes a partnership with OpenAI, with ChatGPT serving as a co-presenting partner. The integration aims to use AI to assist viewers' knowledge through a feature called ‘Vichaar Saathi’. Other brand partners for the season include Vijay Sales, Campure, and Lyra.
