Madhuri Dixit performs Devdas sequence on Kaun Banega Crorepati

Bollywood actress Madhuri Dixit delivered a classical dance performance during a special appearance on the game show Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC). The appearance was part of a series celebrating host Amitabh Bachchan’s upcoming birthday week.

At Bachchan’s request, the song ‘Kaahe Chhed Mohe’ from the 2002 film Devdas was played. Seated on the hot seat, Dixit performed using classical hand gestures and expressive facial movements, channeling her character Chandramukhi. Bachchan praised the performance, calling it ‘Incredible, incredible, Madhuri ji.’

Dixit, who also hosts the Marathi adaptation Kon Honar Crorepati, participated in the episode as a special contestant. The performance highlighted the intricate choreography originally designed by Kathak exponent Pandit Birju Maharaj.
