Madhuri Dixit recalls early marriage routines with Dr. Shriram Nene

Bollywood actress Madhuri Dixit recently shared details regarding her married life with Dr. Shriram Nene during an interview with veteran actress Simi Garewal. Dixit recalled her routine after moving to the United States following their 1999 wedding in Southern California.

Dixit described waking up at 5:30 am to prepare breakfast for her husband before he departed for his scheduled cardiovascular surgeries. She noted that she would return to sleep after he left for work, stating, “I savoured every minute of it.”

The actress also discussed her relationship with Dr. Nene, noting that he was unaware of her stardom when they met. She credited their connection to finding similarities, mentioning that he appreciated her willingness to “go out of my way to do something.”

Following her marriage, Dixit lived in the U.S. and has two sons, Arin and Ryan. She made her return to the Indian film industry in 2007 with the film ‘Aaja Nachle’.
