Madhuri Grover reveals food and living conditions on India's 'Lock Upp 2' reality show

Former contestant Madhuri Jain Grover spoke about her experience after leaving the Indian reality series Lock Upp 2. The show does not provide luxury amenities, but the accommodation was described as comfortable and, in her view, better than what many people have at home.

Grover also mentioned host Farah Khan repeatedly calling her a “manager” or “shadow,” which initially felt harsh but later she understood it as a technique to push her beyond limits. Before entering the show, her mother‑in‑law advised her to eat well because “there won’t be jail food,” a warning that helped her prepare mentally. Overall, Grover portrayed the show's environment as orderly, with basic provisions and a supportive yet challenging host.
