Madhya Pradesh announces recruitment for 7,500 police constables

The Madhya Pradesh Employees Selection Board (MPESB) has announced the recruitment of 7,500 Police Constables (General Duty) for the Special Armed Force (SAF) and Non-SAF cadres. The vacancies fall under the Police Headquarters of the Madhya Pradesh Home Department.

Eligible candidates can apply online through the official MPESB website starting September 22, 2026, with the application deadline set for October 6, 2026. A correction window for application forms will remain open until October 11, 2026. The computer-based written examination is scheduled to begin on November 19, 2026.

Requirements include a minimum of a 10th-grade education, though ST candidates from Madhya Pradesh may be eligible with an 8th-grade pass. Applicants must be between 18 and 33 years of age as of October 6, 2026. The selection process will consist of a written test, physical efficiency test (PET), physical measurement test (PMT), document verification, and a medical examination.
