Madhya Pradesh CM Mohan Yadav begins investment mission in Dubai
Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has commenced a four-day mission in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, to attract foreign direct investment and foster global industrial partnerships. The delegation is scheduled to participate in the AIM Congress 2026 from September 7 to 9 to showcase the state’s industrial capabilities and development vision.
During the first day of the visit, Dr. Yadav inaugurated an exhibition at Taj Dubai featuring the state’s ‘One District One Product’ (ODOP) and Geographical Indication (GI) products. The showcase included traditional crafts such as Betul’s bell metal, Chanderi and Maheshwari sarees, Ujjain’s Batik prints, Bhopal’s Zari-Zardozi, and Gwalior carpets.
The Chief Minister also engaged in high-level diplomatic meetings with India’s Ambassador to the UAE, Deepak Mittal, and Consul General E. Vishnu Vardhan Reddy, as well as the President of the Arab Parliament, Mohammed Ahmed Al Yamahi. Dr. Yadav highlighted investment opportunities in sectors including mining, textiles, food processing, AI, data centers, semiconductors, and the hospitality industry.
