Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav announces new initiatives
Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has announced a strategic deliberation program scheduled for December to enhance the efficiency, awareness, and results-oriented approach of state ministers and legislators. Speaking at the 'Abhyudaya 2026' session of the Fourth National Conference for HR-CSR in Bhopal, Yadav emphasized using past experiences to improve administrative governance.
Additionally, Yadav unveiled the state's new Integrated Fisheries Policy-2026 during the National Fisheries Investors and Exporters Conference. The policy aims to double fish production and trigger a ‘Blue Revolution’ by promoting investment, innovation, and exports. Key targets include establishing 100,000 new cage culture units across the state's rivers and reservoirs.
The initiative seeks to integrate the fisheries sector with food processing units and MSMEs to improve packaging and marketing. To support this, the government will provide land, technical assistance, and other facilities to investors. The event was inaugurated alongside Union Ministers Rajiv Ranjan Singh and S.P. Singh Baghel.
