Madhya Pradesh CM Dr. Mohan Yadav launches Jan‑Vishwas campaign in Chhindwara, suspends officials
On 7 August 2026, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav began the state’s “Jan‑Vishwas” (people‑trust) campaign in Chhindwara district. He inaugurated the programme, announced a “no‑meeting day” policy and said the initiative will involve regular dialogue between elected representatives and citizens at district and tehsil levels.
During the visit he inspected the local LSC at the collector’s office, toured an ITI, and met entrepreneurs and community leaders. He also chaired a district‑level solution meeting to review development projects, address pending grievances and set directives for faster implementation.
As part of the campaign’s disciplinary component, Yadav suspended the district’s Chief Medical Health Officer Dr. Naresh Gunjade, the tehsildar and a patwari for alleged misconduct, signalling a stricter administrative approach.
The chief minister highlighted natural farming, livestock and rural‑tourism initiatives such as homestays, emphasizing job creation in the region. He interacted with social‑media influencers to underline the role of digital platforms in spreading government schemes.
