Madhya Pradesh launches Chief Minister Jan Vishwas Campaign

Madhya Pradesh will begin its "Chief Minister Jan Vishwas Campaign" on 7 August 2023, running through January 2027. The initiative aims to strengthen trust between the state government and citizens and to ensure that welfare schemes reach beneficiaries.

Chief Secretary Ashok Barnwal conducted a video‑conference with collectors, divisional commissioners and senior officials, giving detailed guidelines on implementation, coordination among departments and rapid resolution of complaints. From 7 August, the chief minister Dr Moh‑an Yadav, along with ministers and senior officials, will undertake weekly field visits every Friday across the state. During these visits they will hear grievances, review the progress of schemes such as housing, water, health, education and agriculture, and address issues on the spot. The campaign emphasizes transparent, people‑centered administration and aims to improve service delivery at district and village levels.
