Madhya Pradesh Police announces recruitment for 500+ SI and Subedar posts

The Madhya Pradesh Employees Selection Board (MPESB) has announced recruitment for over 500 positions within the Madhya Pradesh Police department, including Sub-Inspector (SI) and Subedar roles.

According to the notification, the recruitment drive aims to fill approximately 504 to 507 vacancies. The breakdown includes 312 Sub-Inspector positions for the District Police Force, 81 Subedar posts, 69 Sub-Inspector roles for the Special Armed Force, and various technical positions in arms, fingerprints, photography, and document examination.

Online applications are scheduled to open on September 9, 2026, with a deadline of September 23, 2026. A correction window will be available until September 28. The recruitment examination is proposed to take place on October 28, 2026, in two shifts.

Candidates for non-technical roles must hold a graduation degree from a recognized university, while technical roles require specific diplomas or degrees in fields such as mechanical engineering or sciences. Applicants from outside Madhya Pradesh are eligible to apply but will be considered under the open category.
