Madhya Pradesh police arrest suspects in cyber fraud and murder cases

Police in Madhya Pradesh have dismantled two interstate cyber fraud networks in Sehore and Katni, resulting in the arrest of six individuals. In Sehore, authorities apprehended three suspects operating a fraudulent call center that used the ‘FX Trade’ app to deceive investors with promises of high stock market returns, totaling over 20 lakh rupees in fraudulent investments. In Katni, three suspects from Jharkhand were arrested for accessing bank accounts through stolen, unlocked mobile phones, allegedly withdrawing 2.10 lakh rupees.

In a separate violent crime in Bhopal, police arrested five individuals, including three minors, in connection with the murder of a 17-year-old boy. Investigators revealed the motive was driven by misinformation from social media, where suspects believed they could earn significant sums by selling human organs. The mastermind, identified as Zoheb Khan, allegedly influenced the group to carry out the killing near Chhota Talab. The victim, a local street vendor, was identified by his mother through a tattoo on his hand.
