Madhya Pradesh reports tender fraud and severe weather alerts

Madhya Pradesh is experiencing significant administrative and environmental developments. The Economic Offences Wing (EOW) has filed an FIR against four individuals, including Randhir Kumar Patel, following an alleged ₹10.99 crore tender fraud within the Social Justice and Empowerment Department. Investigations suggest fraudulent competition was staged on the GeM portal using shared contact details and addresses among multiple firms.

In response to severe weather, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has issued directives to district collectors as heavy rainfall continues to impact the region. In Panna, flooding has reached a level where emergency responders from the SDRF and Home Guard are reportedly using boats to access their submerged offices. Orange alerts for extremely heavy rainfall have also been issued for districts including Sheopur and Shivpuri.

On the educational front, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav announced that the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) will now be conducted via offline methods following a Supreme Court order, a move intended to provide relief to candidates.
