Madhya Pradesh secures Rs 53,000 crore in investment proposals from UAE
Madhya Pradesh has secured investment proposals exceeding Rs 53,000 crore (approximately USD 6.3 billion) following a three-day visit to the UAE by Chief Minister Mohan Yadav. The proposals target diverse sectors including green energy, artificial intelligence, healthcare, education, and logistics.
Major commitments include a Rs 35,200 crore proposal from Rana Holdings Limited for a 2,000 MW solar energy portfolio, a 200 MW green hydrogen plant, an AI and computing data centre, and a smart manufacturing hub. Additionally, NIDI Services DMCC discussed an investment of approximately Rs 18,000 crore for an industrial-scale AI factory and compute campus.
Other significant engagements involved the Choithram Group, which plans to establish modern grocery-retail formats and cold-chain facilities to distribute local agricultural products through its international network. GEMS Education also expressed interest in establishing international K-12 school campuses in cities like Indore and Bhopal. The visit also highlighted improved connectivity, noting the launch of the Air India Express Indore-Abu Dhabi service.
