Madhya Pradesh to establish Veer Bharat Fellowship and new museums
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has announced the establishment of the Veer Bharat Fellowship to honor thinkers, artists, and scientists who have contributed to India's historical and cultural identity. Two fellowships will be awarded annually, providing 12 lakh rupees per scholar for a one-year duration.
In addition to the fellowship, the state will establish an Aranyak Era Tribal Museum in Betul with central government support. This facility will include a tribal history gallery, a research center, and a digital repository. Furthermore, the executive committee has approved the construction of the Veer Bharat Museum at Kothi Mahal in Ujjain.
The Ujjain museum aims to showcase more than just military history, intending to highlight sages, teachers, mathematicians, and social reformers to demonstrate India's internal strength and creative capacity.
