Madhya Pradesh to host Passenger Transport Vision Summit 2026 in Indore
The Madhya Pradesh government will host the two-day Passenger Transport Vision Summit 2026 in Indore on September 11 and 12. Held at the Brilliant Convention Centre, the event aims to modernize the state's passenger transport system by focusing on safety, smart technology, and pollution-free solutions.
Chief Minister Mohan Yadav will attend as the chief guest, alongside Transport and School Education Minister Rao Uday Pratap Singh. A central theme of the summit is the ‘Mukhyamantri Sugam Parivahan Seva’, which seeks to improve connectivity between cities and remote rural areas through a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model.
The summit will bring together private bus operators, manufacturers, policymakers, technology companies, and investors. Discussions will cover electric and hydrogen mobility, intelligent transport systems, digital ticketing, fleet management, and AI-driven route planning. The event also aims to explore how innovation and investment in the transport sector can create new employment opportunities within the state.
