Madhya Pradesh launches four new direct flight services

Union Civil Aviation Minister Kinjarapu Ram Mohan Naidu and Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav have launched four new direct flight services from Raja Bhoj Airport in Bhopal. Operated by Alliance Air, the new routes include Bhopal-Rewa, Bhopal-Patna, Rewa-Kolkata, and Jabalpur-Kolkata.

These services are being implemented under the Madhya Pradesh Civil Aviation Policy-2025 to enhance intra-state and inter-state connectivity. To support these routes, the state government is providing Viability Gap Funding (VGF) of up to Rs 10 lakh per round trip.

Under this policy, eight new air routes have been approved so far. While four are now operational, four others have already commenced, including Rewa-Delhi, Rewa-Indore, Rewa-Raipur, and Indore-Abu Dhabi.
