Madhya Pradesh weather forecast predicts new rainfall system after September 19
A new weather system is expected to bring a round of rainfall to Madhya Pradesh after September 19, potentially helping the region reach its seasonal monsoon quota. Meteorologists predict increased rainfall activity in western Madhya Pradesh between September 17 and 19, followed by moderate to heavy rain in eastern parts from September 18 to 21.
As of mid-September, the state has recorded approximately 33 inches of rain, which is about 4.3 inches (or 6%) below the seasonal average of 37.3 inches. While 18 districts, including Bhopal and Gwalior, have received above-average rainfall, 37 districts remain below the normal levels. The upcoming weather patterns, influenced by low-pressure areas and monsoon troughs, are critical for closing this deficit before the monsoon season concludes on September 30.
