Madison and Rockland Counties participate in Operation Green Light

Madison County and Rockland County are participating in Operation Green Light, a nationwide initiative to honor veterans. From November 4 to November 11, county buildings in both locations will be illuminated with green lights to recognize service members and raise awareness of available resources for veterans and their families.

In Madison County, the initiative is a partnership with Gentry-Isom VFW Post 2702. The county has previously distributed over 1,600 green light bulbs to encourage community-wide participation. In Rockland County, the Veterans Service Agency is offering free green light bulbs to residents to help them display support at their homes and businesses.
