Madonna admits she was jealous of Kylie Minogue in BBC interview

On 26 June 2026, Madonna appeared on the BBC’s Graham Norton Show to promote her forthcoming 15th studio album, Confessions II, scheduled for release on 3 July. During the interview Kylie Minogue entered the set dressed as a bartender, served a grapefruit cocktail and a glass of inexpensive wine, and the two pop icons exchanged a knowing glance.

Madonna revealed she had been “a little jealous” of Minogue, recalling that her then‑husband Guy Ritchie was attracted to the Australian singer and that she felt she could never be as beautiful as Kylie. Both artists neither confirmed nor denied rumours that Minogue will feature on Confessions II; the album’s only confirmed guest so far is Sabrina Carpenter. Their past collaboration includes a joint performance of “Can’t Get You Out of My Head” and “I Will Survive” during Madonna’s Celebration Tour in California in March 2024, which has kept fans hopeful for an official duet.

The interview reignited speculation about a possible collaboration on the album, but no official credit for Minogue appears in the announced tracklist.
