Madonna and Charli XCX announce collaboration ‘Danceteria Afterhours’

Madonna and Charli XCX have announced a new musical collaboration titled ‘Danceteria Afterhours’, set to be released on September 24. The track is a reworked version of ‘Danceteria’ from Madonna’s recent album, ‘Confessions II’.

A teaser video released by the artists shows both performers dancing in a white studio space. The collaboration follows recent social media interactions between the two, which helped dispel previous rumors of tension between them. Charli XCX previously noted that she and Madonna had spent time together in Paris.

The announcement has led to fan speculation regarding a potential full remix album for ‘Confessions II’, drawing comparisons to Charli XCX’s own recent remix project, ‘Brat and It’s Completely Different but Also Still Brat’.
