Madonna announces new Celebration album edition and unreleased tracks

Madonna is set to release a new edition of her multi-platinum compilation album, Celebration, on December 11. This version features a curated selection of 10 iconic hits, including ‘Material Girl’, ‘Like A Prayer’, and ‘Music’, and will be available on a translucent blue single LP. Special ‘splatter’ editions in red and pink will also be released exclusively through Madonna.com and Rhino.com.

In addition to the new compilation, producer Stuart Price has revealed that eight unreleased tracks were recorded during the sessions for the Confessions II project. While the future of these songs remains undecided, their existence has generated significant interest among fans.

This period of activity follows recent successes for the artist, including the critical acclaim of Confessions II and a 54% annual increase in Spotify streaming numbers for her catalog. Recent high-profile appearances include performances at Coachella and the MTV Video Music Awards, where she received seven awards, including Artist of the Year.
