Madonna releases 'Confessions II – The Film' at Tribeca, now on YouTube

Madonna premiered a 13‑minute short film titled **Confessions II – The Film** at the Tribeca Film Festival in New York. Directed by the TORSO duo (David Toro and Solomon Chase), the visual work accompanies the first six tracks of her forthcoming 15th studio album, scheduled for release on 3 July.

The film, now available on Madonna’s YouTube channel, features cameo appearances by celebrities including Benedict Cumberbatch, Kate Moss, Sabrina Carpenter, Colombian singer Feid, Julia Garner, Gwendoline Christie, Richard E. Grant, Arca and Madonna’s daughter Lourdes Leon, who ends the piece with the line “Cut, b****.” Madonna described the project as “about connection” and urged audiences to put their phones away during live performances.

Ahead of the film’s release, Madonna staged a surprise concert in Times Square and appeared at Coachella, promoting the new album and the visualizer. The album, **Confessions II**, will be issued by Warner Records on 3 July.
