Madonna launches new album Confessions II with Times Square concert

Madonna staged a high‑profile performance on a raised platform at Times Square in New York, balancing on a transparent railing and briefly stepping over the barrier above the crowd. The show was streamed live for LGBTQ+ fans during Pride Month and included new tracks from her forthcoming album Confessions II, such as “I Feel So Free,” “Bring Your Love,” and “Love Sensation,” alongside classic hits like “Hung Up.”

In the aftermath, Madonna urged the audience to put away their phones and connect with one another, stressing that “people today have a constant need to document everything.” She also appeared unexpectedly at the Coachella festival, joining Sabrina Carpenter for a duet of “Bring Your Love.” The new album, produced again with British DJ Stuart Price, follows her 2019 release Madame X and is slated for release on 3 July 2026.
