Madonna previews new album 'Confessions II' on iHeartRadio and TikTok livestream
Madonna's 15th studio album, Confessions II, was given an early global preview on a livestream hosted by iHeartRadio and TikTok. The hour‑long event featured Madonna alongside Bob the Drag Queen, longtime collaborator Stuart Price, and her daughter Lola Leon, and aired across more than 200 iHeartRadio stations in the United States. The album, slated for official release the following day, contains 16 tracks and includes collaborations with artists such as Sabrina Carpenter, Feid, Martin Garrix, and Stromae.
The record builds on the house‑and‑techno influences of her earlier Confessions on a Dancefloor era while also incorporating personal reflections, including material recorded after the death of Madonna’s brother. The album follows the 2024 Celebration tour, which highlighted her legacy in queer New York club culture. Promotional singles like “I Feel So Free” and “Bring Your Love” have already topped dance charts.
The livestream allowed viewers to interact via TikTok’s live tools, including polls and Q&A, offering an interactive listening experience ahead of the album’s Friday drop.
