Madrid adds three luxury private clubs in 18 months

In an unprecedented surge, Madrid has opened three high‑end private clubs within a year and a half. Forbes House opened in 2025, offering five floors with a rooftop and basement. In 2026, Club Metrópolis launched under the iconic dome of the Metropolis building, featuring seven dining venues, a lobster pool and a boutique hotel for members. The same year saw Club Vega open in the Salamanca district, led by Iñigo Onieva.

The clubs are driven by local entrepreneurs: Andrés Rodríguez founded Forbes House, while Sandro Silva and Marta Seco of Grupo Paraguas created Club Metrópolis. All three clubs target an international elite clientele, signaling Madrid’s ascent to the level of London and Paris in the luxury private‑club market.
