Madrid-Barajas Airport introduces soundproof work capsules

Madrid-Barajas Airport's Terminal T4 has introduced soundproof work capsules provided by the Pôdo network. This marks the first time Aena has leased space in a Spanish airport for private, on-demand work modules.

Six capsules have been installed in the boarding area, split into two groups near gates J40-J41 and J58-J59. The units include individual and group options, featuring acoustic insulation, active ventilation, private Wi-Fi, and optimized lighting for video calls.

Users can access the modules digitally via the Pôdo mobile app or through on-site payment kiosks. The service is designed to support the growing trend of remote work and professional mobility, allowing travelers to utilize layovers and waiting times productively.
