The ruling, issued by magistrate Beatriz Prestel, upgrades her status from total disability—which previously only prevented her from working as a pediatrician—to absolute disability, meaning she is unable to perform any professional occupation, including sedentary roles.

Following a diagnosis of persistent COVID-19, her condition worsened, resulting in new functional limitations such as difficulty maintaining social contact, impaired concentration, and challenges with prolonged walking.
