Madrid expands international dining with new Santoku and La Birra Bar openings

Madrid's culinary scene continues to expand with the opening of new international dining locations. Santoku Barrio, the latest venture from Gabriel Suárez, has opened in the Salamanca district at Calle Lope de Rueda, 19. Following the success of the original Santoku and Santoku Barra, this new location offers a tasting menu priced at 42.50 euros.

Additionally, the Argentine burger chain La Birra Bar has opened its third Madrid location in the Chamberí district on Calle Cea Bermúdez, 54. The chain, which originated as a family business in Buenos Aires in 2001, has grown into an international brand with 30 establishments across Argentina, Chile, the United States, and Spain. The company recently gained international recognition after its ‘Crispy Dubai’ burger won the Dubai Burger Championship 2026.
