Madrid Global Mobility Call 2026 draws municipal officials and auto industry leaders
The Global Mobility Call 2026, held at IFEMA in Madrid, featured a roundtable hosted by Vectalia. The session was moderated by Angel Hernández, Vectalia’s Mobility Director, and included municipal representatives such as Pedro Juan Muriel of Cáceres and Carlos de Juan of Alicante, who discussed challenges and innovations for urban transport.
In a parallel debate organized by the Spanish Association of Automobile and Truck Manufacturers (ANFAC) during the same event, CEOs and senior executives from Toyota Spain, Stellantis Iberia, Iveco Spain and Omoda & JAECOO presented a coordinated push for sustainable, decarbonised mobility. They highlighted multitechnology solutions, the need for infrastructure and incentives, and the importance of digitalisation and AI across the vehicle value chain to position Spain as a leading European production hub.
