Madrid hosts Aranjuez Balloon Festival and Río Babel music series

Madrid is hosting several cultural events, including the return of the Aranjuez Balloon Festival. Organized by The Balloon Company, the festival is expected to take place on October 3 and 4, weather permitting. The event features hot air balloons up to 30 meters tall, with take-offs centered at the Plaza de Parejas in Aranjuez, facing the Royal Palace. Saturday sessions include morning and afternoon flights, while Sunday activities are scheduled for the morning.

Additionally, the Río Babel festival is expanding its presence in Madrid through a new concert cycle called ‘Las noches de Río Babel’. This initiative aims to strengthen the musical connection between Spain and Latin America. The first edition includes 34 concerts across various venues, such as Movistar Arena and La Riviera, featuring artists like Jorge Drexler, Miranda!, and Trueno. The programming spans multiple genres, including rock, pop, rap, and experimental music.
