Madrid hosts FISU World University Modern Pentathlon Championships

The FISU World University Championship in modern pentathlon has commenced in Madrid. The Italian university delegation, consisting of six student-athletes and two technicians, has already secured a bronze medal.

Christian Arroyo Paniagua earned third place in the Obstacle Discipline and Laser Run event, following a comeback performance. Other Italian competitors included Alessandro Pavolini, Matteo Gozzoli, Edoardo Vari, Matteo Ventura, and Emanuele Vari, who placed in the top fifteen.
