Madrid hosts Global Mobility Call and Sustainable Bus Awards at IFEMA

The Global Mobility Call will take place at IFEMA in Madrid from 9 to 11 June, bringing together over 8,000 professionals to discuss AI, connected vehicles, last‑mile logistics and other sustainable transport solutions. The event features ten thematic pathways and participation from officials such as Transport for London and representatives of Lisbon and Paris, with a new partnership linking the Spanish and Chinese industrial sectors.

From 22 to 24 September, IFEMA will also host the International Bus and Coach Fair (FIAA) and the Sustainable Bus Awards 2027. The awards, judged by an international jury of transport journalists, spotlight urban, inter‑urban and coach vehicles that meet strict criteria for energy efficiency, safety, comfort, digitalisation and recyclability. Finalists include models such as the Yutong U18, Mercedes‑Benz eCitaro NMC4, Irizar iE bus Efficient and Scania PHEV, reflecting a shift toward low‑ or zero‑emission public transport.
