Madrid hosts inaugural Female Leadership Forum

The first edition of the Female Leadership Forum (Foro Liderazgo Femenino) was held in Madrid, focusing on the increasing presence of women in executive roles and the challenges they face in career progression.

During the event, Esperanza Casteleiro, Secretary of State and Director of the National Intelligence Center (CNI), discussed the transformation of the traditionally male-dominated institution into one with a high presence of female professionals. She shared her personal experiences regarding the skepticism she faced when entering leadership positions in male-majority environments.

Entrepreneur Guillermina Mekuy also participated, advocating for a broad conception of diversity. The forum was organized by Prensa Ibérica, El Periódico, and ‘activos’, with support from various corporate sponsors and academic collaboration from the Escuela de Organización Industrial.
