Madrid hosts lunar observation event and launches audiovisual agenda

The Madrid Planetarium, in collaboration with the Madrid Astronomical Association (AAM), will host a free lunar observation event on Friday, September 18. Held at the Tierno Galván Park, the event will feature live lunar projections on a large LED screen accompanied by educational commentary from astronomer Antonio del Solar. Additionally, over twenty telescopes will be available for public viewing, managed by specialized monitors to provide detailed explanations of visible celestial bodies.

Separately, the Madrid Audiovisual Cluster has launched the new Madrid Audiovisual Agenda. This tool, part of the Madrid Audiovisual Observatory, centralizes information on more than 280 industry events recorded since 2024. The initiative aims to facilitate access to information for producers, creators, distributors, and festivals within the region's audiovisual ecosystem.
