Madrid hosts various performing arts and puppet festivals

Several cultural festivals are scheduled to take place in the Madrid region. The fourth edition of the Siete Villas Festival will run from October 3 to November 1, bringing contemporary performing arts to seven municipalities, including La Cabrera, Robledo de Chavela, Torrelaguna, Becerril de la Sierra, San Lorenzo de El Escorial, Guadarrama, and Velilla de San Antonio.

Directed by Laura Rubio Galletero and produced by Señora Rojo, the festival features diverse performances ranging from dance and puppetry to multisensory astronomical experiences. The program includes free activities such as masterclasses and community mediation sessions.

Additionally, the Titirimadroño International Puppet, Visual, and Object Theater Festival will be held in the Puente de Vallecas district from October 16 to 25. Organized by the International Puppetry Union (UNIMA) with support from the Madrid City Council, the event will feature international companies from Argentina and Italy. The festival includes street performances, workshops, and exhibitions across various cultural centers and public spaces.
