Madrid jewelry store robbed by two men

Two men carried out a violent robbery at a jewelry store in the La Guindalera neighborhood of Madrid during the morning opening hours. The assailants, who were wearing masks, surprised a 30-year-old employee as she arrived to open the establishment.

The attackers forced the employee to open the safe, stealing cash and numerous pieces of jewelry. Before fleeing, the robbers gagged the employee and locked her in the back room, taking her keys and leaving her trapped inside.

A second employee arrived shortly after, discovered her colleague, and alerted the police. While the victim was shaken, she did not sustain physical injuries and did not require hospitalization. Police are currently investigating the incident using security camera footage. The victim noted that the suspects appeared to have South American accents.
