Madrid hosts major hospitality trade fair GUEXT 2026 and ITH Innovation Summit

The GUEXT International Hospitality Suppliers and Services Fair, organized by IFEMA Madrid and FELAC, announced the launch of its Hosted Buyers program for 15‑17 October 2026. The initiative will bring exhibitors together with international buyers from Europe, Ibero‑America and North Africa, offering qualified meetings across seven sectors including equipment, design, technology, food‑beverage, logistics and wellness.

The ITH Innovation Summit took place on 9‑10 June in Madrid, gathering hotel chains, consultants, tech firms and media to discuss how artificial intelligence, data, distribution, talent and sustainability reshape hotel competitiveness. Sessions covered AI‑driven reservations, luxury service personalization, autonomous food‑beverage operations, legal responsibilities of AI use, and the environmental footprint of hotel supply chains. Key speakers included Fede Fuster (ITH), Jorge Marichal (CEHAT) and Gabriel García (AEHM).
