Several municipalities in the Madrid region are hosting local commerce and gastronomy fairs to support neighborhood businesses and community engagement.

Rivas Vaciamadrid will hold its V Local Commerce Fair on October 3 and 4 at Parque Lineal. Organized by the City Council and the Rivas Commerce Association, the event features various stalls including crafts, fashion, and decoration, alongside local gastronomy and children's activities.

Getafe is hosting the ‘El Comercio está de Moda’ fair from October 1 to 4. Organized by the Association of Merchants and Entrepreneurs of Getafe (ACOEG), the event includes tastings, workshops, and a fashion show scheduled for October 3.

In Leganés, the ‘Tapa Fest 2026’ returns to Plaza Mayor from October 2 to 4 after a seven-year hiatus. The festival involves 26 local establishments offering exclusive tapas for 2.50 euros, accompanied by live music, DJ sets, and various recreational activities.
