Madrid named best incentive destination in the world and Europe

Madrid has been named the best incentive destination in both the world and Europe at the 2026 World MICE Awards held in Jamaica. This recognition places the Spanish capital ahead of competing cities including Los Angeles, Singapore, Copenhagen, Barcelona, Berlin, and Rome.

The award highlights Madrid’s commitment to innovation, competitiveness, creativity, and social and environmental sustainability. It also recognizes the effective public-private collaboration facilitated by the Madrid Convention Bureau (MCB) and its 225 associated companies.

This achievement reinforces Madrid’s growing reputation for hosting diverse high-profile events, ranging from the Spanish Formula 1 Grand Prix to major international congresses such as the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) meeting, which is expected to host 37,000 delegates in October.
