Madrid police dog performs simulated resuscitation during demonstration

During a public demonstration by the Madrid Municipal Police, a police dog named Poncho performed a simulated life-saving maneuver on a fellow officer.

As part of the security exercises, an officer simulated a sudden medical emergency and collapsed to the ground. Poncho responded by performing rhythmic chest compressions by jumping on the officer's thorax. The dog also paused to check the officer's breathing by placing his muzzle against the man's neck and face before resuming the simulated cardiac massage.

The demonstration, which was captured on video, has gained significant attention on social media, with many praising the intelligence and training of the canine unit.
