Premier Padel Madrid P1 reaches finals after dramatic comebacks
The Premier Padel Madrid P1 tournament at the Movistar Arena has reached its final stages, featuring dramatic comebacks and high-stakes matchups.
In the women’s bracket, Paula Josemaría and Bea González secured a historic comeback victory against Claudia Fernández and Martina Calvo. After trailing 0-5 in the deciding set and facing three match points, the second-seeded pair won seven consecutive games to advance to the final against Gemma Triay and Delfi Brea.
In the men’s bracket, Coki Nieto and Mike Yanguas reached their first final of the season after defeating Tino Libaak and Gonza Alfonso in a tense tie-break. They will face Alejandro Galán and Federico Chingotto, who secured their spot with a straight-sets victory over Íñigo Jofre and Jairo Bautista.
Other notable performances include Ari Sánchez and Andrea Ustero advancing to the semifinals after a hard-fought three-set match. World number one Arturo Coello also remains a central figure in the tournament's final rounds.
