Madrid region hosts Science and Innovation Week in November 2026

The XXVI Science and Innovation Week of the Community of Madrid will take place from November 16 to 29, 2026, featuring various activities designed to bring research, technology, and innovation to the general public.

In Tres Cantos, the programming will focus on science communication through cinema, technology workshops, astronomy, and artificial intelligence. The initiative aims to make scientific concepts accessible to children, youth, and adults by moving beyond strictly academic settings.

Torrejón de Ardoz will participate with free workshops and guided visits to the National Institute for Aerospace Technology (INTA) campus. Specific activities include a workshop on science and emotions for primary school students, organized with the Foundation for Science, Health and Education, and tours of INTA laboratories. This year's edition highlights mental health and the 40th anniversary of Spain's entry into the European Union as central themes.
