Madrid regional government plans new fire stations
The Community of Madrid has approved its 2027 budgets, which include the construction of a new fire station in Torrejon de Ardoz. This project is part of a larger regional initiative to build six new fire stations in Villanueva de la Cañada, Villarejo de Salvanes, Cobeña, Loeches, and Colmenar Viejo.
The regional government has allocated 141.7 million euros for approximately thirty supramunicipal projects. Additionally, the Madrid 112 Emergency and Security Agency is set to receive 465.4 million euros in 2027, representing a 13.4% increase to expand mobile resources, machinery, and human resources. The INFOMA regional forest fire plan will also see increased funding, reaching 55.6 million euros.
