Madrid to host 2026 Spanish Grand Prix at new Madring circuit

The 2026 Spanish Grand Prix is scheduled to take place in Madrid from September 11 to 13 at the new Madring circuit located at IFEMA Madrid. The event marks the return of Formula 1 to the Spanish capital after 45 years.

Preparations for the race include significant infrastructure and hospitality developments. The circuit features a signature corner known as ‘La Monumental,’ which boasts a 24% banking inclination and grandstands capable of seating over 50,000 spectators. To enhance the fan experience, the event will feature high-end culinary offerings, including a program designed by Michelin-starred chef Paco Roncero at the Podium Stand hospitality area.

Logistical arrangements for attendees involve utilizing the Madrid-Barajas Airport, which is located approximately 13km from the circuit. Travelers can access the Madring site via a short taxi ride or through Metro line 8, connecting the airport to the Feria de Madrid station.
